Enjoy Tuesday Nights even more
With Temperatures that we could only dream of last year, the conditions we’re playing in at the moment are just fantastic. Put that together with the terrific condition of the course and it feels light mid summer (only with not much rough yet).
Tuesday Nights have proved very popular so far. Good weather, good course conditions, good company on the course and some good scoring as well. Why not stay and enjoy the atmosphere in the clubhouse afterwards and have something to eat? I have to say its good fun playing 18 holes at a good pace, and then having a quick drink and a bite to eat as well. Why not give it a go?
The format for the matches is a start time of 1pm and play matchplay foursomes. It’s a great format for golf. It’s a lot of fun. Just remember the best thing about playing in foursomes is you don’t have to play the next shot. Just think about hitting your ball into the rubbish or knocking your putt 4 foot passed. In strokeplay you’d have to deal with it yourself. In foursomes its “oops over to you partner”
The joint captains and professional invite pairs of members of any combination to challenge them in a series of foursomes matches to be played on the dates below. The entry sheet is on the mixed board in the clubhouse.
