He's back! Or is he?
So, what did you make of Tiger Woods' announcement that he hopes to return to action in October?
The former world number one, now ranked outside the top 700, splits opinion, but it can surely only be a good thing that the 14-time Major winner is close to teeing it up competitively again after more than a year on the sidelines.
Of course, nothing is straightforward where Tiger is concerned, because at the time of writing the 40-year-old still isn't 100% certain he'll be in the field to play in the Safeway Open in California, starting on 13 October - it all just adds a little drama to the Tiger circus.
"It could be a fun fall," said Woods. "It was difficult missing tournaments that are important to me, but this time I was smart about my recovery and didn't rush it."
What we do know is that he will be at Hazeltine at the end of the month as a non-playing Ryder Cup vice-captain. We suspect once the dust has settled on events in Minnesota, Woods will let us in on a little more.
Maybe you're gearing up for your own return to action. If that's the case and your game is a little rusty, don't hesitate to speak to the team about some coaching.

Ahead of the below event, we were asked to set a target score to beat. Firstly, it is not as easy as it sounds! The object of the game is alternate shot in a team of 4 in sequence. 3 attempts and a 20 second penalty for making bogie, the pressure really is on.

Fastest 1st - Saturday, 24 September
Due to inclement weather this event has been rearranged, the tee off time will be at 5pm followed by chilli or curry in the clubhouse.
You may recall, just prior to the Spanish Open at Valderrama, Teams of European Touring Pro's attempted a World Record for playing a golf hole in the fastest time ever!
The record of 34 seconds was set by the French quartet of Romain Wattel, Alexander Levy, Gregory Havret and Raphael Jacquelin. This is your opportunity to have a go….
Inspired by the video clip, the club is planning a social golf event around this theme. Should you want to take a look this is the link click here.
Teams will consist of four players to include one lady per team.
The competition will involve a golf relay on the first hole in an attempt to set the club record for the fastest completion of the first hole.
Each team will have three attempts to record their fastest time.
If it sounds chaotic you are probably right, but a Pimms tent, the inaugural Fastest 1st Trophy, crash hats and food for players and guests will more than compensate!
If you would like to play please sign up on the list in the verandah.
