GC2 Launch Monitor
Over the last few weeks, you would have read the importance of being custom fitted for your golf equipment. With this in mind, we have decided with much thought and consideration, to invest in a GC2 launch monitor. Unlike many other launch monitors, the GC2 can detect anything from 18 inches or more.
This will allow for not only the full iron & wood fit, but also the importance of different wedges and even golf ball can be analysed. This is achieved by taking note of the simply impressive data the monitor collects at the time of impact. Using a laptop or Tablet device allows seeing on screen the comparison against your current equipment and other equipment trailed at the time of the fitting.
Spin rate, ball speed, launch angle, clubhead speed, ball flight, dispersion etc. are all recorded and can be analysed easily. A major advantage of this monitor is that it is portable, meaning if you are considering a new wedge for example, we can go down to the net in the car park and see which wedge is right for you.
Furthermore, with the GC2 you can see the difference between golf balls in terms of spin rate they achieve and even how many degrees out your putting stroke may be, which is the reason you miss those 3 footers.
As you will understand, launch monitors do not come cheap, so investing £7000 is a big decision. However, seeing the device and understanding what it can do makes the investment worth it. We will be keen for you to come and try it out and see for yourself how being correctly fitted can improve your game as well as seeing the results from a lesson.
I am keen to hear your opinions on this, so please feel free to write to me or pop in to the shop if you want to find out more.
