Know your distances
How often do you find yourself not knowing which club to take on the golf course? We all roughly know which is our favourable club to take from 150 yards, but then judge the entire bag on that one yardage. Knowing exactly how far you hit each club in your bag could dramatically lower your scores on the golf course. Even to the extent of missing the hazards off the tee and laying up short or going over the top.
This is something that we can do with you using our GC2 launch monitor. All three of us in the shop are all very passionate to improve your game in any way we can. Therefore, this is a vital piece of knowledge for any golfer, as the last thing you want standing over the ball is negative thoughts surrounding your club choice.

Wedge Gapping
I am sure that whenever you turn the television on to watch the golf, you will all be amazed just how good these golfers are with their scoring club (120 yards in). This will be exactly the reason they are so good, because they all know exactly how far their wedges are going, which is why it is no surprise they are very, very rarely more than 10 feet away from the pin from this yardage.
Therefore, gapping becomes a major priority if you are struggling with which club to take from 120 yards in. Have you got a gap between Pitching Wedge and your Sand Wedge, if so this can quite easily mean a 30 yard gap between the two.
So, if you are thinking of new wedges for the season, or adding a gap wedge or lob wedge etc, then book a fitting and we will fit the correct wedge that will suit your playing style and fit the yardage you require to match in with your set.

GPS Distance Finders
Golf distance finders have emerged as a must have golfing accessory, as they are easy to use and can be easily visiable quickly. We stock GPS devices in the way of a wearable Garmin watch or a Nikon Laser.
Garmin watches come pre loaded with 38000+ golf courses, for which give you distances to the front, middle and back of the green. Different models provide more information as you move up the series of Garmin watches (distance to hazards or touch screen capabilities etc.). Nikon laser needs nothing other than to change the battery periodically, so can be taken anywhere in the world and is small enough to fit in your pocket whilst you play your golf.
Therefore, there are no excuses for hitting the wrong club and not knowing how far away you are from the pin.
